This Anti-Corruption Strategy and Fraud Prevention Plan has been developed as a result of the expressed commitment of Government to fight corruption. It compliments the National Anti-Corruption Strategy of the country and supplements both the Public Service Anti-Corruption Strategy and the Local Government Anti-Corruption Strategy.

The policy is also established to give effect to the various legislative instruments relating to fraud and corruption.

In addition, the Policy provides guidelines as to how to respond should instances of fraud and corruption be identified.
